MEET THE SPEAKERS
Dr. Dean Radin
Dean Radin, MS, PhD, is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Science (IONS) and Associated Distinguished Professor of Integral and Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). His original career track as a concert violinist shifted into science after earning a BSEE degree in electrical engineering, magna cum laude and with honors in physics, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and then an MS in electrical engineering and a PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. For a decade he worked on advanced R&D at AT&T Bell Laboratories and GTE Laboratories.
For over three decades he has been engaged in research on the frontiers of consciousness. Before joining the research staff at IONS in 2001, he held appointments at Princeton University, SRI International, and other academic and industrial facilities. He is author or co-author of hundreds of scientific, technical, and popular articles, four dozen book chapters, and four best-selling books.
Tim Freke

Mark Pitstick
Mark Pitstick, MA, DC, has fifty years’ experience and training in hospitals, pastoral counseling settings, mental health centers and private practice. His training includes a premedical degree, graduate theology / pastoral counseling studies, masters in clinical psychology, doctorate in chiropractic health care, and extensive postgrad training in clinical nutrition. He also has provided suicide prevention counseling and education to many people.
Mark became aware of clairaudient experiences at age ten and has since been blessed with numerous miracles, revelatory, and spiritually transformative experiences. After working in hospitals with many suffering and dying adults and children, he was motivated to find evidence-based answers to questions that many people ask: “Who am I? Why am I here? What happens after I die?
His books, documentary film, audio products, and experiential webinars/workshops address all of these questions. He leads workshops and events to help people in their day-to-day lives.
Isshō Fujita
Isshō Fujita (藤田 一照, Fujita Isshō was born in Niihama, Ehime, Japan and became head teacher at Valley Zendo, a Sōtō Zen practice center in Charlemont, Massachusetts, USA. Fujita studied child psychology at Tokyo University Graduate School, but abandoned them and became a Zen monk. At the age of twenty-nine, on 8 December, Fujita was ordained a Zen priest, along with Ryōdō Yamashita, by Kōhō Watanabe at Antai-ji temple.
In 1987, Fujita assumed the role of abbot at Valley Zendo, where he lived until his return to Japan in 2005. From 2010 - 2018, he was the Director of the Soto Zen International Center and continues to teach and mentor in various capacities today in Japan.
Robin Miller
Performing Artist, Composer, and Songwriter, Robin Miller began playing the guitar at the age of 7, started his first band at age 14, and composed and recorded his first album before he turned 18. Robin Miller has recorded albums with various artists for labels such as A&M, MCA, and RCA. Proficient on guitar, keyboards, bass, and mandolin, Robin shows his versatility through rock & roll, blues, new age, and many other types of music.
Robin received the prestigious Arizona Entertainment Award for New Age Artist of the Year and performances have included shows with James Van Praagh and Sylvia Browne, touring with her for two years. His music receives airplay on cable radio and FM stations across the USA and Canada, and musical streaming through DMX and MUZAK satellite channels.
