Dr. Brian Swimme

Dr. Brian Swimme is a professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and author of several books including Cosmogenesis. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oregon in 1978 for work in gravitational dynamics. He brings the context of story to our understanding of the 13.7 billion year trajectory of cosmogenesis. Such a story, he feels, will assist in the emergence of a flourishing Earth community.

Swimme is the author of The Hidden Heart of the Cosmos and The Universe is a Green Dragon. He is co-author of The Universe Story, which is the result of a 10 year collaboration with the cultural historian, Thomas Berry.  Swimme is also the creator of three educational video series: Canticle to the Cosmos (1990), Earth’s Imagination (1998), and The Powers of the Universe (2006).

He lectures widely and has presented at conferences sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, The World Bank, UNESCO, The United Nations Millennium Peace Summit, and the American Museum of Natural History.

Sky Nelson-Isaacs

Sky Nelson-Isaacs is a physicist, teacher, musician and author of Living in Flow and Leap to Wholeness. Nelson-Isaacs was raised amongst the study and practice of Integral Yoga, taught by Sri Swami Satchidananda.

With an MS in physics, he has pursued a connection between synchronicity and physics using rigorous research methodology.

Sky is an educator and teacher, as well as the founder of the Synchronicity Institute to promote research and training on the science of wholeness, synchronicity, and flow.

He is interested in the physics of complex systems and how they relate to the larger universe. He seeks to better understand how consciousness and the observer effect impact the way we experience reality. Encouraging a more holistic view of science and spirituality: Nelson-Isaacs believes that science and spirituality are two sides of the same coin, and that both are necessary for a full understanding of our world. He hopes to bridge the gap between these two disciplines and encourage more people to embrace a holistic worldview.

Helping people to live in flow: Nelson-Isaacs is the author of the book "Living in Flow: The Science of Synchronicity and How Your Choices Shape Your World," which explores the concept of living in flow and how it can improve our lives. He hopes to help people better understand the power of synchronicity and how to make choices that align with the flow of the universe

Dr. Amit Goswami

Dr. Amit Goswami is a former professor of physics from the University of Oregon, where he served on the faculty from 1968 to 1997.

The meaning of quantum physics was highly obscured. While researching this, Amit discovered that when quantum physics is formulated within the metaphysics of qualified non-dualism, as in Indian Vedanta, questions regarding meaning are immediately resolved. His work thus integrates science and spirituality. This work has culminated in his most recent book with the physician Valentina Onisor, Quantum Spirituality.

Subsequently, he developed a theory of reincarnation and integrated conventional and alternative medicine within the new quantum science of health. Among his discoveries are the quantum theory of the creative process, the theory of quantum evolution, and the theory of quantum economics that extends Adam’s Smith’s capitalism into a workable paradigm for the 21st century.

In 2009, he started a movement called “quantum activism,” now gaining ground in North and South America, Southern and Eastern Europe, and India. In 2018, together with his collaborators, he established Quantum Activism Vishwalayam, an institution of transformative education in India, based on quantum science and the primacy of consciousness.

Amit is the author of numerous books, most notably: The Self-Aware UniversePhysics of the SoulThe Quantum DoctorGod is Not DeadQuantum Creativity, and The Everything Answer Book. He was featured in the movie What the Bleep Do We Know!? and the documentaries Dalai Lama Renaissance and The Quantum Activist.

Joseph Selbie

Joseph Selbie enjoys making the complex and obscure simple and clear. He is the author of Break Through the Limits of the Brain, how neuroscience supports spiritual experience, The Physics of God, a unification of science and religion, and The Yugas, a factual look at India’s tradition of cyclical history. He is known for creating bridges of understanding between the modern evidenced-based discoveries of science and the timeless experience-based discoveries of the mystics. A dedicated Kriya yoga meditator for over fifty years, he has taught yoga, meditation, and universal experiential spirituality throughout the US and Europe.

In 2022, Joseph was nominated for Trailblazer of the Decade, by the OmTimes Magazine.

Joseph is an active speaker, teacher, and conference presenter. He has been interviewed on Deepak Chopra’s The Chopra Well, Regina Meredith’s Open Minds on Gaia, Rick Archer’s Buddha at the Gas Pump, George Noory’s Coast to Coast AM, Sandie Sedgebeer’s What’s Going OM, David Larimer’s Science and Medical Network, Alex Ferrari’s Next Level Soul, and scores of other programs. He is a frequent speaker at the Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge, as well as at Yogananda Fests, and hosted conferences on the yugas and The Science Behind Meditation with Amit Goswami. Joseph appeared in the movie, Finding Happiness, starring Elizabeth Rohm.

In 1975 Joseph became a founding member of Ananda, a spiritual community and movement inspired by the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi. His role as teacher and minister, and decades of study under Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Yogananda, gave him a deep dive into Eastern philosophy, meditation, and comparative religion. Joseph is also a critical thinker grounded in science having studied physics, chemistry, and microbiology at the University of Colorado.  His presentations, classes, articles, and books always blend science and spirituality.
