Meet the Speakers
Sandra Ingerman
Sandra Ingerman, MA, is an award-winning author of twelve books, including Soul Retrieval: Mending the Fragmented Self, Medicine for the Earth, Walking in Light, and The Book of Ceremony: Shamanic Wisdom for Invoking the Sacred in Everyday Life. She is also the presenter of eight audio programs, a world renowned teacher of shamanism who has been teaching for close to 40 years and a leader of international workshops on shamanic journeying, healing, and reversing environmental pollution using spiritual methods. She is passionate about helping people to reconnect with nature.
Additionally, she is a licensed marriage and family therapist and professional mental health counselor. She is also a board-certified expert on traumatic stress. She was awarded the 2007 Peace Award from the Global Foundation for Integrative Medicine. Sandra was chosen as one of the Top 10 Spiritual Leaders of 2013 by Spirituality and Health Magazine. Watkins Body Mind Spirit Magazine honored Sandra by including her on their 100 Most Spiritually Influential People of 2020.
Lynne McTaggart
Over the years, Lynne has been called a metaphysical rock star, the 'Madonna of the Quantum World,' the 'Malcom Gladwell of the New Science' and even 'The Dalai Mama.'
She’s consistently voted one of the world’s top 100 spiritual leaders for her ground-breaking work with consciousness and the power of intention. Lynne is known for the quality of her writing and in-depth research, her inspirational speaking style and her uncompromising role as New Thought leader and spiritual change agent.
Cyndi Dale
Cyndi Dale is an internationally renowned author, speaker, healer, business consultant, and the author of nearly 30 books about energy medicine, intuition, and spirituality. In addition, she has worked with over 70,000 clients and students and presented hundreds of seminars and workshops across the Americas and in Russia, England, Wales, Amsterdam, Iceland, Costa Rica, Belize, Morocco, Peru, Scotland, and more. Her books have been published in over 18 languages.
Some of her books include The Subtle Body: An Encyclopedia of Your Energetic Anatomy, the winner of four internationally recognized Publisher’s Awards, and the 2021 COVR Visionary Award in Health & Healing: Energy Healing for Trauma, Stress & Chronic Illness (2020). Others include Chakras, Food, and You (with Dana Childs), Energy Wellness for Your Pets, Llewellyn’s Little Book of Empathy, Awaken Clairvoyant Energy, and many others.
Overall, she seeks to unify the world’s most vital spiritual messages, encouraging understanding and community among all peoples.
Issho Fujita
Issho Fujita was born in the Ehime prefecture in Japan and studied developmental and clinical psychology at the University of Tokyo. When he was a Ph.D. student at 27 years of age, a master of Chinese medicine recommended that he attend an intensive Zen session at Enkaku-ji, which is a traditional Rinzai monastery in Kamakura. He was so fascinated by zazen practice that he left graduate school to study Zen full-time at Antai-ji, a Soto Zen monastery in the Hyogo Prefecture.
Starting in the late 1980's, he taught at Pioneer Valley Zendo in Massachusetts and remained in the states until 2005, teaching at various colleges and institutions, including Smith College, Amherst College, Mt. Holyoke College, the University of Massachusetts and the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.
In 2010, he became the Director of Soto Zen Buddhism International Center in San Francisco, where he served for nearly ten years. He visited many Soto Zen centers, temples, and groups worldwide to teach Soto Zen teaching and practice. He currently lives in Hayama, Japan, and teaches somatic style Zen through lectures, workshops, and books.
Chief Phillip Scott
Chief Phillip Scott has faithfully walked the Native Path for forty years. Of mixed ancestry and thrice struck by Lightning, Phillip learning from and sanctioned by traditional Medicine/Holy people, tribal Spiritual leaders, Wisdomkeepers and Elders from several Indigenous cultures. Annually Sundancing in the Lakota tradition for over three decades and a member of the Native American Church, he is a Ceremonial leader and Traditional healer, entrusted to share Indigenous wisdom and Medicine practices with the contemporary world.
An advisor and presenter on various Sacred matters, he is a consultant for educational, spiritual/religious, medical and environmental institutions as well as for corporations. Interviewed both nationally and internationally, his life, experience and writings have been featured in journals and books. In addition to directing and teaching the programs at the Ancestral Voice Institute for Indigenous Lifeways, where he maintains a private healing practice, performs Ceremonies. conducts intensives, gives lectures and leads pilgrimages worldwide. He has a Masters degree from Naropa University and is also a licensed EMT.
Swami Saradananda
Swami Saradananda is a teacher, author and speaker. She has worked with the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres for 26 years and directed centres in New York, Toronto, London, New Delhi and the Himalayas. She is a freelance yogi, based in London and frequently travels around the world to teach, including leading pilgrimages to India.
She holds an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), University of London. She is the author of several books, including Sitting Comfortably, The Cleansing Power of Yoga, Mudras for Modern Life, The Power of Breath, Chakra Meditation, The Essential Guide to Chakras, and Relax and Unwind with Yoga.
